Overview
Notification History is a 100% offline application. All data including notifications, images, and preferences is stored exclusively on your device. Nothing is ever transmitted to any external server, cloud service, or third party.
What We Collect
Notification History reads notification content (title, message text, sender name, timestamps, and images) from apps you explicitly enable inside the app. This data is captured solely to display it within Notification History and is never shared or uploaded anywhere.
Where Your Data Lives
Everything stays on your phone.
None of this data ever leaves your device. There are no accounts, no logins, and no cloud sync.
Image Capturing Permission
If you enable Image Capturing in Settings → Permissions, Notification History requests access to read media files on your device (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES on Android 13+, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on older versions).
This permission is used only to read image thumbnails attached to incoming notifications. The images are stored as compressed thumbnails inside your device's local database and are not uploaded, shared, or accessible outside the app.
Notification Listener Permission
Notification History requires the Notification Listener Service permission to read notifications from apps you select. This permission is used only to capture notification content for display inside the app. The captured data is processed on-device and stored locally — it is never sent anywhere.
